Dr. Angela Muoki is a Board Certified Specialist Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon, bringing over 12 years of extensive knowledge and experience to the Nairobi Sculpt Team. Her dedication to excellence and patient-centered care makes her a cornerstone of our practice.
Dr. Muoki holds a distinguished background in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She was the third graduate of the Master of Medicine program in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Nairobi (UoN)/Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) and is a proud Fellow of the College of Surgeons in East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA).
Her commitment to continuous learning and international exposure is evident through her participation in prestigious fellowships: she is a recipient of the 2023 British Foundation for International Reconstructive Surgery and Training (BFIRST) Fellowship under the British Association of Plastic Surgeons (BAPRAS), where she undertook an Orthoplastic Surgery Rotation in Liverpool and Manchester, UK. Furthermore, she is a faculty member and graduate of the 2023-2024 class of Global Fellows for the Surgeons in Humanitarian Alliance for Reconstruction Research and Education (SHARE) program of the Plastic Surgery Foundation under the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).
Based in Nairobi, Kenya, Dr. Angela Muoki balances her work in both the public sector and private consultancy. She is currently the Head of Department at the Defence Forces Memorial Hospital, a role she took on in 2023 after an impactful 8-year tenure in the Department of Surgery at UoN/KNH. Her strong background in academic medicine, training, and research is reflected in her authorship of over 10 scientific papers published in peer-reviewed medical journals.
